I'm a 20 year old Student at Sheffield University who lives in South Yorkshire, with a great passion for Leeds United, hence me creating somewhere for ranting about whatever's going on at the club. I'm always trawling around the web for LUFC tidbits and might as well do something productive with them so I'll try and give you my opinion and inform you about rumours or whatever else catches my eye.
I don't profess to always be right, and this site is just for my own amusement in the main! I like to write so while I'm at it I might as well put it out there for fellow fans to read and maybe contribute. It will also hopefully stave off rants at my mates where I end up just talking at them, not to them, about Leeds! (They all follow lesser clubs and jealousy's a terrible thing)...
I've been coming to games since the Chelsea home tie in 1997 when my Dad decided it was about time me and my brother were introduced to Elland Road. Obviously being a younger fan, history for me qualifies as the Champions League run and games like 4-3 vs Liverpool but I will venture now and then into our other even better periods in history where I feel I'm able to sound properly informed and write something worthwhile about them.
I'd encourage any readers to comment and contribute as I'll be there to respond to anything you might take exception to or want to debate about in any of my articles. Football is great because of people's opinions so I'd like to hear yours!
The year 2011 is a rare year for me as a Leeds fan, being from the Doncaster area and schooled in Sheffield I've endured a lot of stick from various groups of supporters but now I find their tunes are changing towards Leeds as we march on back to where we should be. I'm glad I've been on the ride, it will make the good times that are to come all the sweeter.
